About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Automotive Engineer to handle automotive component testing, validation, certification, homologation, and compliance activities. The role will involve working with customers, laboratories, consultants, and internal teams to ensure automotive products meet applicable testing and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute DVP/DVPR and validation testing for automotive components.
- Conduct testing and support certification/homologation activities for automotive electronic and electrical components.
- Handle product validation, extension, renewal, change management, and COP testing.
- Work with applicable automotive standards such as ISO, JASO, JIS, AIS and other relevant standards.
- Operate and interpret results from test chambers and electronic testing equipment.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, reports, technical documentation, and certification records.
- Coordinate with customers, internal teams, laboratories, and external consultants for testing and certification requirements.
- Support NPD, type approval, export homologation,



and regulatory compliance activities.
- Ensure testing activities are completed within defined timelines and as per customer requirements.
- Participate in quality audits and internal compliance activities.
- Provide technical support during testing, validation, and certification projects.

Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of automotive testing and validation processes.
- Knowledge of automotive component certification and homologation.
- Familiarity with DVP/DVPR, COP, Type Approval, Extension and Renewal processes.
- Knowledge of testing instruments, test chambers, and measurement systems.
- Valuable documentation and report-writing skills.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Knowledge of tools such as PCAN, Bus Master and Teraterm would be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in automotive testing, validation, certification, homologation, or automotive component engineering.
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in automotive electronics/components, testing laboratories, OEMs, or certification agencies preferred.
- Candidates with exposure to ISO/JASO/JIS/AIS standards and regulatory certification will be preferred.
