Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Audit Manager to join our Hyderabad team. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in U.S. Audits, with preference for candidates who have managed 401(k) / Employee Benefit Plan audits and NPO / Non-Profit audits.

The Audit Manager will be responsible for managing audit engagements, reviewing audit workpapers and financial statements, handling client communication, supervising audit teams, and ensuring engagements are completed in accordance with U.S. GAAP and U.S. Auditing Standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage multiple U.S. audit engagements from planning through completion.
- Lead and supervise audit teams, including Audit Associates and Senior Associates.
- Review audit workpapers for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with professional standards.
- Review financial statements and related disclosures.
- Manage 401(k) / Employee Benefit Plan audits, where applicable.
- Manage NPO / Non-Profit Organization audits, where applicable.
- Ensure appropriate application of U.S. GAAP and U.S. Auditing Standards.
- Review substantive testing, analytical procedures, internal control testing, and audit evidence.
- Identify significant audit issues and determine appropriate audit procedures.
- Communicate with U.S.-based clients regarding audit requirements, findings, documentation, and deadlines.
- Manage engagement timelines, budgets, staffing, and deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and review feedback to team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and support development of junior team members.
- Resolve audit and accounting issues in consultation with senior management or U.S. engagement teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact during engagements.
- Ensure all engagements are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications
- CA / CPA qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant U.S. Audit experience.




- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Strong understanding of U.S. Auditing Standards.
- Proven experience reviewing audit workpapers and financial statements.
- Experience managing audit teams and multiple engagements.
- Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM IST.
- Candidate must be based in Hyderabad or willing to work from Hyderabad.

Preferred Experience Preference will be given to candidates with:
- 401(k) / Employee Benefit Plan audit experience
- ERISA audit experience
- NPO / Non-Profit audit experience
- Experience managing U.S. financial statement audits
- Strong U.S. GAAP technical knowledge
- Experience handling U.S.-based clients independently
- Experience managing and mentoring audit teams
- Experience reviewing complex audit workpapers and financial statements

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month
