About Access Assist

Access Assist is a development organisation and action tank working at the intersection of economic mobility, financial inclusion, livelihoods, digital transformation, climate action and inclusive development.

We work with governments, development partners, financial institutions, corporates, foundations and ecosystem organisations to design and implement solutions that improve economic opportunities and well-being for underserved communities.

As Access Assist expands its portfolio of partnerships and programmes, we are looking for an entrepreneurial professional to build and drive our corporate partnerships, CSR engagement and resource mobilisation agenda.

The Opportunity

This is a high-ownership, relationship-driven role for someone who enjoys building partnerships from the ground up.

The person will be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with corporates, corporate foundations, CSR teams, philanthropic organisations and government stakeholders, converting these relationships into meaningful partnerships and mobilising resources for Access Assist programmes.

The role will also have a specific responsibility for developing Access Assist's engagement with the Social Stock Exchange (SSE) and other emerging avenues for resource mobilisation.

The ideal candidate will be a go-getter and strong relationship builder who is comfortable reaching out to senior stakeholders, developing new ideas, following up persistently and taking an opportunity from an initial conversation to a concrete partnership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate & CSR Partnerships

- Identify and build relationships with corporates, CSR teams, corporate foundations and philanthropic organisations in India.
- Develop and maintain a solid pipeline of potential partners and funding opportunities.
- Initiate conversations, understand corporate priorities and identify areas of alignment with Access Assist's programmes.
- Develop partnership opportunities from initial discussions through to concept notes, proposals, approvals and agreements.
- Maintain regular engagement with existing partners and identify opportunities for deepening or expanding relationships.
- Represent Access Assist in relevant CSR, philanthropy and development-sector forums and networks.

1. Resource Mobilisation

- Develop and execute a resource mobilisation strategy across CSR, corporate philanthropy, foundations and other institutional sources.
- Track upcoming CSR priorities, funding windows, calls for proposals and partnership opportunities.
- Work closely with Access Assist's technical teams to translate programme ideas into compelling funding propositions.
- Coordinate the development of concept notes, proposals, budgets, partnership documents and presentations.




- Maintain a live partnership/funding pipeline and regularly report on opportunities, progress and conversions.

1. Social Stock Exchange & Innovative Financing

- Serve as the internal focal point for Access Assist's engagement with the Social Stock Exchange (SSE).
- Develop an understanding of SSE requirements, opportunities and relevant fundraising mechanisms.
- Coordinate internally to ensure organisational readiness for SSE-related opportunities.
- Explore other innovative approaches to mobilising resources for development programmes.

1. Government & Institutional Engagement

- Build and maintain relationships with relevant government departments, missions, agencies and public institutions.
- Identify government priorities and emerging opportunities that align with Access Assist's areas of work.
- Develop initial concepts and partnership ideas that can subsequently be developed with Access Assist's technical teams.
- Support engagement with government stakeholders at national and state levels.

1. Partnership Development & Concept Design

- Work with programme and technical teams to identify scalable ideas and convert them into partnership propositions.
- Contribute to the design of new programmes in areas such as:
- Women's Economic Empowerment (WEE)
- Financial inclusion and access to finance
- Livelihoods and enterprise development
- Skilling and employability
- Digital and economic inclusion
- Climate and green livelihoods
- Financial well-being and economic mobility
- Develop presentations and partnership pitches for senior corporate, foundation and government stakeholders.

1. Impact & Relationship Reporting

- Coordinate with programme teams to develop compelling impact reports, partner updates, dashboards and outcome stories.
- Ensure partners receive timely and high-quality updates on programme progress, outcomes and utilisation of resources.
- Help translate programme results into compelling communication for existing and prospective partners.
- Identify opportunities for demonstrating and communicating measurable impact.

What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who combines relationship-building ability with commercial and entrepreneurial instincts.

Essential

- 3–4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in CSR, philanthropy, development consulting, fundraising, partnerships, business development or institutional relations.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with corporates, CSR teams,



corporate foundations, philanthropic organisations or government stakeholders.
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to independently identify opportunities and initiate conversations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience preparing or contributing to concept notes, proposals, presentations or partnership documents.
- Strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple relationships and opportunities simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel for meetings and stakeholder engagement.

We Particularly Value
- Existing networks within the Indian CSR and corporate ecosystem.
- Experience in resource mobilisation or fundraising.
- Understanding of India's CSR ecosystem and regulatory environment.
- Exposure to government programmes and public-sector stakeholders.
- Experience working across development, livelihoods, financial inclusion, skilling, WEE or related areas.
- Exposure to Social Stock Exchange / social finance / impact investing / blended finance would be an advantage.
- Ability to understand a technical programme and translate it into a compelling partnership proposition.

The successful candidate will have significant exposure to corporates, foundations, government, development partners and senior decision-makers, while gaining experience across programme development, partnerships, fundraising and impact.

For the right candidate, the role can evolve into a leadership position responsible for Access Assist's partnerships and resource mobilisation portfolio.
