Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Associate Consultant – Radiology to join our Radiology team. The candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging procedures, providing accurate and timely reports, and collaborating with clinicians to support effective patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform and interpret diagnostic radiology procedures including X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT and MRI, as per qualification and expertise.
- Review and report imaging studies accurately and within defined turnaround times.
- Provide clinical correlation and communicate critical findings promptly to the concerned clinicians.
- Participate in emergency and routine radiology services as per departmental requirements.
- Ensure appropriate imaging protocols are followed for different clinical indications.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, radiation safety and infection control.
- Interact professionally with patients and explain procedures wherever required.
- Coordinate with clinicians, technicians and other healthcare professionals for smooth delivery of radiology services.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.




- Participate in departmental meetings, audits, quality initiatives and clinical discussions.
- Support junior doctors and technical staff in the appropriate execution of radiology procedures.
- Stay updated with advancements in diagnostic imaging, reporting standards and radiology practices.

Qualifications

- MD/DNB in Radiodiagnosis/Radiology from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the relevant medical council.
- Additional fellowship/certification in a specialized area of Radiology will be an advantage.

Experience

- Relevant experience in a hospital/diagnostic centre as a Radiologist.
- Candidates with experience in a multispecialty hospital environment will be preferred.
