Role Description The Assistant Manager Quality Assurance is a full-time, on-site role based in Mahesana. This role is responsible for overseeing daily quality assurance activities on the shop floor, including monitoring production processes, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring adherence to customer and internal quality standards. The position involves coordinating with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The Assistant Manager Quality

Assurance will maintain and update quality documentation, support internal and external audits,



and assist in training team members on quality procedures and best practices. The role requires regular reporting on quality performance metrics and proactive collaboration to drive defect reduction and process reliability.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, automotive quality standards, and shop floor quality control practices.
- Experience with core quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, control plans, root cause analysis, CAPA) and audit processes.
- Understanding of sheet metal components, fabrication processes, and automotive manufacturing workflows.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare quality reports, and use MS Office or similar tools for documentation and presentations.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across production, engineering, and supplier teams.
- Proven ability to lead small teams, mentor staff on quality practices, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or a related field; quality certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in automotive or component manufacturing quality assurance is preferred.
