Role Purpose The Assistant Manager - Project Finance will support the Head - Finance & Accounts in managing project funding, lender relationships, debt servicing, project cash flows, financial analysis, and reporting. The role requires a finance professional capable of coordinating with banks, NBFCs, investors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely funding, effective utilization of funds, and seamless execution of financing activities across projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Finance & Fund Raising

- Assist in evaluating project funding requirements and financing options.
- Coordinate with Banks, NBFCs, Housing Finance Companies (HFCs), AIFs, and other financial institutions for project funding.
- Support preparation of project financial models, funding proposals, lender presentations, and information memorandums.
- Track sanction, drawdown, and utilization of project finance facilities.

Lender Management

- Act as a key point of contact for lenders and financial institutions.
- Ensure timely submission of project MIS, drawdown requests, utilization statements, and periodic compliance reports.
- Coordinate lender due diligence processes, valuation exercises, audits, and site visits.
- Monitor financing covenants and facilitate timely closure of lender requirements.

Project Cash Flow & Financial Planning

- Prepare and monitor project-wise cash flow forecasts.
- Evaluate funding gaps and recommend appropriate financing strategies.
- Monitor collections,



project expenditures, debt servicing obligations, and liquidity requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term project funding plans.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

- Perform project feasibility analysis and profitability assessments.
- Prepare periodic reports for management on project performance, funding status, cash flows, and lender exposure.
- Assist in investment evaluations, refinancing opportunities, and capital structuring initiatives.
- Develop dashboards and MIS reports for management review.

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain project finance documentation, sanction letters, loan agreements, security creation records, and lender correspondence.
- Coordinate with legal, secretarial, and external advisors for financing-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with lender conditions and financing requirements.

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with Projects, Sales, CRM, Legal, Liaisoning, and Accounts teams for project-related financial information.
- Support management during funding discussions, investor interactions, and strategic finance initiatives.
- Facilitate smooth communication between internal stakeholders and external financing partners.

Candidate Specifications





Educational Qualification

Mandatory

- Post Graduate Degree in Finance (MBA Finance / PGDM Finance / Master's in Finance or equivalent).

Experience

- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Structured Finance, Real Estate Finance, or Lending.
- Prior experience in the Real Estate sector will be preferred.
- Experience in handling relationships with lenders and financial institutions is essential.

Technical Competencies

- Strong understanding of project finance structures and debt instruments.
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial models and project cash flows.
- Knowledge of lender appraisal processes and project funding mechanisms.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis.
- Robust MIS reporting and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with real estate project economics and financing cycles.
