Position: Cafe Manager

Location: Tambaram, Chennai.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The Cafe Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food and beverage quality, controlling costs, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the cafe.
- Supervise, train, and motivate cafe staff.
- Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, ordering, and wastage.
- Coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries.
- Handle cash, billing, daily sales reports, and basic financial records.
- Monitor expenses and control operational costs.
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
- Support promotional activities and initiatives to increase sales.




- Ensure cafe equipment is properly maintained and report maintenance requirements.
- Follow company policies, food safety regulations, and operating procedures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management.

Requirements
- Previous experience in cafe, restaurant, hospitality, or food-service management.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Positive knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and inventory management.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office/POS systems and sales reporting.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.
