Role – Asst Manager Finance & Accounts

Location: Chennai, Mogappair

Work Schedule: 6 days a week preferably men

Introduction to the Role

We are looking for an experienced Asst Manager Finance to be part of the accounting Team Exposure in Accounting, TDS Filing, direct taxation, GST Filing, and Statutory Audit Coordination. Experience in Health Care Industry would be an added advantage

Job Accountability / Role Responsibilities

Technical Accounting

- Responsible for proper accounting.

· Advanced Experience with Tally Accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

· Advanced skill in MS Office- MS word, PPT etc · Prepare Monthly MIS reports.

· Prepare Monthly payment process for Payroll, ESI & EPF

· Oversee proper creation of provisions and accruals.

- Ability to work independently and lead accounting teams, Good communication skills.
- A team player.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure timely reconciliations.
- Close books and prepare trial balance and financial statements for each period and month-end close.
- Coordinate to close audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.

Direct Tax

- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax liabilities.
- Ensuring accurate remittance of TDS deducted and filing quarterly returns
- Collaborate with external Auditors / tax consultants to manage tax submissions including returns,
- Implement accounting-to-tax reconciliation processes. Viz., TDS Receivable Reconciliation (Form 26AS)

GST





- Preparation and E-filing of Monthly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns
- Manage GST reconciliations with GSTR-2A / GSTR-2B and prepare GSTR-9/9C filings
- Ensure all legalities are catered to and having practical knowledge on GST provisions.

Implement accounting-to-tax reconciliation processes. Viz., Reconcile GST, Input tax credits with the Ledger balance.Day to day compliance · Verify and authorise vendor payment cheques and online transfers

· Prepare Ageing reports for Account Payables and Account Receivables

· Prepare collection reports, Vendor bill wise payment details.

Risk Controls

- Ensure that all controls are in place.
- Work and interact with the risk team per requirement.
- Maintain the overall control framework of the organisation.
- Work with internal controls and other stakeholders to ensure all control procedures are in order.

Developmental

- Create and develop work processes with a focus on automation and digitisation.
- Work with members across teams for optimum results.

Education Qualifications Skills

- M.com/CA Inter/ICWA Inter/MBA Finance- with atleast 5 years of direct experience in Financial Accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally,).

will be a B.com/M.com with high percentage and Intermediate in Chartered /Cost Accountancy with not less than 8 years experience in a Service /Healthcare industry accounting till finalization. Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
