Role & responsibilities

- Exchange Reconciliation: Reconcile control accounts (TXN Charge, SEBI Fee & Clearing Charges etc.) on monthly basis.

- Statutory Returns:- Finalization of GST & TDS Returns on periodical basis and dealing with auditor for filing of the same, preparation of Cash Flow Statement, reconciliation of Demat account, Accruals & Payables, Finalization of books of accounts up to Trial Balance.

- General Ledger Maintenance: Daily monitoring of accounts maintained with Banks & Clearing House, Record daily journal entries, bank reconciliations, and expense vouchers in accounting software (specialized broker back-office software i.e. Rising/Shilpi).

- Audit & Compliance Support: Assist internal and statutory auditors by providing financial statements & trade related reports aligned with SEBI or relevant regulatory guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Technical Skills:



Must be familiar with Rising/Shilpi software (a customized software used for back-office & accounts function), solid command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

- Experience: 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in a reputed stock broking firm, or CA firm dealing with stock market audits.

- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of trading cycles (T+1 / T+0 settlements), margin reporting, and broker back-office systems.

- Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master's in Commerce/MBA (Finance).

- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ethical integrity regarding sensitive financial data.
