About the Role

EXPROOFTECH is looking for a motivated and technically enthusiastic Application Engineer to join our engineering team. The role will involve supporting embedded electronics, PCB design, product development, testing, troubleshooting, and application engineering activities.

This position is suitable for fresh B.E./B.Tech ECE graduates as well as candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience in embedded systems, electronics, PCB design, or application engineering.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Engineering, Design, Production, Quality, and Project teams to develop and support electronic products and customer applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the design and development of embedded electronic systems and PCBs.
- Support schematic design, PCB layout, component selection, and design documentation.
- Work with microcontrollers, sensors, communication interfaces, and electronic circuits.
- Assist in PCB assembly, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Perform functional testing and validation of electronic products.
- Support firmware/embedded software integration and basic debugging.
- Analyse hardware issues and support corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documents, drawings, BOMs, test reports, and technical records.
- Support prototype development and product improvement activities.
- Assist in customer application support and technical discussions when required.
- Coordinate with production and suppliers for PCB/electronic assembly-related requirements.
- Follow company engineering, quality,



and safety procedures.
- Learn and apply relevant standards and engineering practices applicable to the company's products.

Required Technical SkillsEssential
- Basic understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Understanding of microcontrollers and embedded systems.
- Basic knowledge of PCB design and schematic development.
- Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams and electronic datasheets.
- Basic knowledge of electronic components and their applications.
- Ability to use electronic test equipment such as multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply, etc.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good technical documentation skills.

Desirable Knowledge or hands-on experience in any of the following will be an advantage:
- Altium / KiCad / Eagle / OrCAD or similar PCB design tools.
- Embedded C / C programming.
- Microcontrollers such as ARM, STM32, PIC, AVR, ESP32, etc.
- UART, RS-232, RS-485, CAN, I²C, SPI, Modbus or similar communication protocols.
- Sensor interfacing and data acquisition.
- PCB assembly and rework/soldering.
- Battery monitoring systems / Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Industrial electronics or instrumentation.
- IoT or industrial communication systems.

Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE).
- Candidates from closely related electronics disciplines may also be considered.

Experience




- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience in embedded systems, PCB design, electronics design, testing, or application engineering are preferred.
- Academic projects, internships, or hands-on electronics projects will be considered positively for fresh graduates.
