An Air Export Freight Forwarding qualified coordinates the end-to-end international transportation of goods by air, managing bookings, documentation, and regulatory compliance to ensure timely delivery

Key Responsibilities

- Shipment Booking & Management: Coordinate cargo bookings with airlines, manage pick-ups, and oversee the physical movement of freight from the shipper's warehouse to the departure airport.
- Documentation: Prepare, verify, and process vital shipping documents, including Air Waybills (AWB), Master Air Waybills (MAWB), House Air Waybills (HAWB), commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Customs & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with export controls, local customs laws, IATA regulations, and international trade agreements.
- Rate Negotiation & Pricing: Negotiate competitive freight rates with airlines and trucking vendors to optimize shipping costs for clients.
- Customer Communication: Track active shipments, monitor flight departures/arrivals,



and provide proactive status updates or pre-alerts to clients and overseas agents.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal sales, customer service, and accounting teams to resolve operational bottlenecks or billing discrepancies.
