Role Description The AI Engineering Trainer at LYFeX is a part time, remote role focused on designing and delivering engaging live sessions that teach AI and engineering concepts to diverse participant groups. This role involves planning curricula and session outlines, preparing examples and exercises, and presenting complex technical topics in an accessible and interactive manner. The trainer will host live audio/video rooms, facilitate Q&A;, guide hands-on activities or demos, and encourage participation from learners with varying levels of experience.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in AI and software engineering,



including practical experience with machine learning concepts, model development, and deployment workflows.
- Proficiency with relevant tools and technologies such as Python, common ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and modern development practices (e.g., version control, testing, documentation).
- Demonstrated ability to teach or train others, with experience in curriculum design, technical instruction, mentoring, or conducting workshops in a remote or hybrid format.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to explain complex topics clearly, manage live discussions, and encourage inclusive participation.
- Comfort with live audio/video platforms and virtual collaboration tools, with the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues during sessions.
- Strong organizational skills and reliability, including consistent session preparation, timely follow-up with participants, and responsiveness to feedback.
- Commitment to a gender-neutral, non-discriminatory, and learner-centered approach, with sensitivity to participants from varied backgrounds and skill levels.
- Relevant academic background in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience; prior experience as a trainer, instructor, or content creator is a plus
