We are looking for an AHU Operator to manage and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at our WHO-GMP certified manufacturing plant in Panchkula. You will be responsible for daily operation, temperature and humidity control, routine maintenance, and logbook documentation for HVAC/AHU units across production and cleanroom areas.

Key Responsibilities

- AHU Operation: Operate and monitor all HVAC/AHU systems, blowers, and air handling equipment to ensure continuous performance across production halls.

- Parameter Monitoring: Track and record cleanroom parameters including temperature, relative humidity (RH), and differential pressure across classified zones as per SOPs.

- Preventive Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance schedules, filter cleaning, belt tensioning, motor checks, and lubrication for all air handling units.

- Filter &
- Airflow Management:

Inspect, clean, and replace pre-filters, micro-filters, and coordinate HEPA filter integrity checks and air velocity testing.

- Breakdown Handling: Attend to breakdown maintenance promptly, troubleshoot issues with cooling coils, fans, dampers, and chillers to minimize MTTR.

- Logbook &

- Records:

Maintain accurate daily operation logs, parameter sheets, and maintenance records in compliance with cGMP and GDP standards.

- Utility Coordination:



Coordinate with the engineering team for connected utilities including chillers, cooling towers, and steam supply.

- Safety &

- Cleanliness:

Ensure AHU rooms and plant service areas remain clean, safe, and ready for regulatory and internal audits.

Requirements

- Experience: 4–5 years of hands-on experience in AHU / HVAC operation within a pharmaceutical or formulation manufacturing plant.

- Education: ITI (Refrigeration &
- Air Conditioning / Fitter / Electrical) or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

- Skills:

- Hands-on experience with HVAC/AHU, chillers, blowers, and cleanroom air systems.

- Good understanding of temperature, RH, and differential pressure limits for pharma cleanrooms.

- Knowledge of filter maintenance, damper control, and basic electrical troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with WHO-GMP, Schedule M, and good documentation practices.

- Clear communication in Hindi & basic English.

- Personal Traits:

- Responsible, alert, and proactive in identifying mechanical faults.

- Disciplined with routine parameter logging and shift handovers.

- Comfortable working in shifts on the shop floor.
