nRole Overview:

n

nThe Head – Admissions will be responsible for leading the University's overall admissions and student recruitment strategy for a student strength of 15,000+ students, with a demonstrated ability to achieve 5,000+ annual admissions. The role requires strong expertise in higher education admissions, lead generation, conversion, counselling, institutional partnerships, and data-driven admission management.

nKey Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the University's annual admissions strategy aligned with programme-wise and institutional enrolment targets.
n
- Own and drive the 5,000+ annual admission target, including lead generation, counselling, conversion, and enrolment.
n
- Lead the complete admissions funnel from enquiry → lead → application → counselling → offer → fee payment → enrolment.
n
- Develop admission targets by school/college, programme, geography, category, and intake.
n
- Lead and mentor the admissions, counselling, tele-calling, outreach and admission operations teams.
n
- Monitor daily/weekly/monthly admission performance through MIS, dashboards and conversion analytics.
n
- Identify gaps in the admission funnel and implement corrective strategies to improve lead-to-admission and application-to-enrolment conversion.
n
- Drive admissions through digital campaigns, school/college outreach, education fairs, seminars, career counselling and institutional partnerships in coordination with Marketing.
n
- Build strong relationships with schools, junior colleges, coaching institutes,



corporate organisations, education consultants and other feeder institutions.
n
- Develop and monitor geography-wise and programme-wise recruitment plans to expand the University's student base.
n
- Ensure effective utilisation and ROI of admission campaigns and lead-generation channels.
n
- Work closely with Marketing, Deans, Principals, Finance, Registrar and academic departments to ensure smooth admissions.
n
- Ensure a seamless and student-friendly admission and onboarding experience.
n
- Establish admission SOPs, counselling standards, follow-up mechanisms and performance KPIs.
n
- Ensure compliance with University, regulatory and admission policies.
n
- Present regular admission forecasts, target achievement reports and strategic recommendations to Senior Management.

nCandidate Profile:

nThe ideal candidate should have:

n

n
- 10–15+ years of experience in university/higher education admissions, preferably in a large university with 10,000–15,000+ student strength.
n
- Proven experience of independently managing large-scale university admissions.
n
- Demonstrated track record of achieving 5,000+ admissions in a financial/academic year.
n
- Strong understanding of the complete higher education admission funnel.
n
- Excellent leadership, team management, negotiation and communication skills.
n
- Robust analytical and target-oriented approach.
n
- Experience with CRM/ERP, admission dashboards, digital lead management and MIS.
n
- Strong network and experience in student recruitment across multiple geographies.
n
- Ability to work under aggressive admission targets and manage large teams.
n

nPreferred Qualification:

nMaster's degree / MBA in Marketing, Management, Business Administration, Education or a related field. Experience in higher education admissions will be strongly preferred.
