Job Overview The Hotel School is looking for an energetic and result-oriented Admission Counselor who can guide prospective students and parents, manage admission inquiries, conduct systematic follow-ups, and contribute to student enrolment targets.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills, a professional personality, and the ability to explain career opportunities in the hospitality and hotel industry in a simple and convincing manner.

This is a target-oriented role involving both inside admissions counselling and field-based student recruitment activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counselling & Admissions

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding hospitality careers, course options, eligibility, admission procedures, fees, and career opportunities.
- Understand each student's academic background, interests, and career goals before recommending an appropriate programme.
- Clearly explain the advantages, facilities, practical training, industry exposure, placements, and learning environment offered by The Hotel School.
- Conduct counselling through telephone calls, WhatsApp, email, walk-ins, and face-to-face meetings.

Inquiry Management & Follow-Up
- Handle incoming leads and enquiries generated through digital marketing, website, telephone, walk-ins, educational fairs, and referral channels.
- Conduct timely and systematic follow-ups with prospective students and parents.
- Convert qualified enquiries into campus visits, applications, and confirmed admissions.
- Maintain professional communication throughout the admission cycle.

Campus Visits & Presentations
- Conduct campus tours for prospective students and parents.
- Explain classrooms, training laboratories, practical facilities, programmes, and student support services.
- Conduct admission presentations, counselling sessions, and career-awareness sessions.

School Visits & Field Recruitment
- Visit schools, coaching centres, educational institutions, career fairs, and other relevant locations for student outreach.
- Build relationships with school counsellors, teachers, principals, and other education-sector stakeholders.




- Participate in educational exhibitions, career fairs, seminars, workshops, and promotional activities.
- Generate genuine student leads through field activities and institutional relationships.

Application & Admission Processing
- Assist students in completing admission forms and documentation.
- Verify basic eligibility and required documents.
- Coordinate entrance assessments, interviews, counselling sessions, and admission formalities where applicable.
- Ensure applicants receive accurate information regarding deadlines and required documentation.

CRM & Lead Management
- Record every student enquiry, counselling interaction, follow-up, campus visit, application, and admission status in the institution's CRM/ERP.
- Maintain accurate follow-up dates and remarks.
- Ensure no genuine enquiry is missed because of delayed or incomplete follow-up.
- Regularly review the admission pipeline and pending leads.

Fee & Scholarship Guidance
- Explain course fees, payment schedules, available payment options, scholarships, and applicable financial assistance.
- Ensure all financial information communicated to students and parents is accurate and transparent.
- Coordinate with the accounts and admission departments where required.

Admission Targets
- Work towards assigned monthly and annual admission targets.
- Maintain strong enquiry-to-visit and visit-to-admission conversion ratios.
- Identify reasons for lost admissions and provide feedback to management.
- Support institutional initiatives aimed at improving student recruitment and admission conversion.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Candidates with qualifications in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, Communications, Education, or related fields will be preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in admissions counselling, education sales, student recruitment, tele-counselling,



business development, or a related role.
- Fresh candidates with exceptional communication and counselling abilities may also be considered.

Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Strong interpersonal and counselling skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently with both students and parents.
- Persuasive communication without misleading or pressuring students.
- Strong telephone and follow-up skills.
- Basic knowledge of CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with admission and enrolment targets.
- Willingness to undertake local field visits, school visits, fairs, and promotional activities.

- Number of qualified enquiries handled.
- Follow-up discipline and CRM accuracy.
- Campus visits generated.
- Applications received.
- Admission conversion rate.
- Student enrolments.
- School and institutional relationships developed.
- Field leads generated.
- Quality of student and parent counselling.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
