About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager – Finance & Accounts to join our growing Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturing business .

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in financial accounting, manufacturing accounting, costing, taxation, inventory controls, MIS reporting, audit, and working capital management . Candidates with experience in manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Experience in Lithium-Ion Battery, EV, Energy Storage, Electrical, Electronics, or Auto Components manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely financial accounting.
- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, journals, provisions, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Ensure proper accounting and closure of monthly and annual books.
- Support preparation of financial statements and schedules.

Manufacturing Accounting & Costing

- Handle manufacturing accounting and product costing activities.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, material consumption, production expenses, and overheads.




- Analyse cost variances and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Support standard costing, cost analysis, and profitability reporting.

Inventory & Controls

- Monitor inventory accounting and reconciliation with physical stock.
- Ensure proper accounting of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and consumables.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Purchase, and other departments for inventory control.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.

GST, TDS & Tax Compliance

- Ensure timely and accurate GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Review tax-related accounting and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with consultants and authorities wherever required.
- Maintain proper documentation for statutory requirements.

Import & Export Accounting

- Handle accounting related to imports and exports.
- Review import documentation, duties, freight, forex transactions, and related accounting entries.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies for smooth transaction processing.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Manage vendor payments, customer collections, ageing, and reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, and Commercial teams for issue resolution.
