Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Guwahati. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, and maintenance of accurate financial records for ongoing construction projects.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, processing vendor payments, managing payroll data, and reconciling bank statements and project accounts. The role also involves assisting with budgeting,



cost tracking, statutory compliance, and preparation of financial reports for management review. The Accountant will collaborate with project teams and management to ensure transparent financial reporting, adherence to company policies, and support for audits and regulatory filings.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and basic corporate finance practices.
- Ability to manage project-based cost control, budgeting, and financial tracking in a construction or infrastructure environment (preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records under deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and management on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
