Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and support the company’s regular finance and reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, GST, TDS, reconciliations, Excel/Tally and monthly reporting. Candidates who have hands-on experience with accounts finalization and preparation of financial statements will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain purchase, sales, expense and journal entries.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
- Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Prepare regular MIS and accounting reports as required.
- Assist in monthly closing and review of accounts.
- Prepare and maintain schedules, statements and supporting working sheets.
- Assist in accounts finalization and preparation of financial statements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and other stakeholders regarding accounts-related matters.
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of financial transactions.
- Identify discrepancies in accounts and assist in resolving them.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.

Required Skills




- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience in Tally / Tally Prime.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting-related working sheets.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Experience in bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Understanding of accounts payable and receivable.
- Ability to prepare basic financial reports and working sheets.
- Understanding of monthly closing and accounts finalization.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to independently manage routine accounting activities.

Experience 2–6 years of relevant experience in accounting is preferred.

Candidates with practical experience in finalization of accounts, GST/TDS, reconciliations and financial reporting will be considered for senior responsibilities within the salary range.

Education

- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification preferred.
- Relevant practical accounting experience will also be considered.

Salary ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month, depending on experience, skills and overall suitability for the role.
