Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accounts professional with strong exposure to Import & Export accounting. The candidate will be responsible for managing accounting transactions related to imports and exports, foreign currency transactions, documentation, reconciliations, and coordination with banks, vendors, customers, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities related to import and export transactions.
- Handle and maintain import/export documentation and ensure proper accounting entries.
- Manage foreign currency transactions, including forex-related accounting and adjustments.
- Handle vendor and customer transactions, including invoices, payments, receipts, and outstanding balances.
- Coordinate with banks for import/export-related transactions, payments, remittances, and documentation.
- Coordinate with logistics and internal teams for shipment-related documentation and accounting requirements.
- Perform regular bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate recording and tracking of import/export expenses and related charges.




- Monitor outstanding payments and receivables and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain proper records and documentation for audits and statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably with strong Import/Export exposure.
- Hands-on experience in Import/Export accounting and documentation.
- Good understanding of foreign currency transactions and forex accounting.
- Experience in bank reconciliation, vendor/customer reconciliation, and ledger reconciliation.
- Robust coordination skills with banks, logistics teams, vendors, and customers.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates from trading, import/export, distribution, logistics, or technology/electronics companies with relevant accounting experience will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
