ABOUT THE ROLE
Dormez Mattress Industry is a growing mattress manufacturing brand based in Bhopal. We are looking for a hands-on accountant to own our day-to-day bookkeeping, statutory compliance, and monthly reporting. This is a ground-floor role where you will work directly with the founders and be the single point of accountability for all financial operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
GST return filing: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns;
monthly reconciliation of 2A/2B
Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime: proficient in day-to-day entries and reports
TDS computation, deduction, and quarterly return filing
Day-to-day bookkeeping and ledger maintenance in Tally
Bank reconciliation and cash flow tracking
GST compliance: filing, reconciliation, and handling notices
TDS: correct deduction, challan payment, and return filing
Inventory accounting in a manufacturing or trading context
Bank reconciliation and vendor/debtor management
Excel: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic MIS preparation
Vendor payment processing and accounts payable management
Accounts receivable tracking and debtor aging reports
Ability to independently produce a monthly P&L; and balance sheet
Inventory accounting: stock valuation, purchase entries,
GRN reconciliation
Monthly MIS: P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow statement for founder review
QUALIFICATIONS
TOOLS YOU WILL USE

MS Excel
GST Portal
TRACES / TDS
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent; CA Inter preferred but not required
Google Sheets
Net Banking
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role;
manufacturing, trading, or FMCG background preferred
Prior experience handling GST independently (not just data entry) is mandatory
