Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Thrissur. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

The Accountant will support month-end and year-end closing activities, coordinate with external auditors or tax professionals as needed, and provide financial insights to support decision-making.



The individual in this role will also help improve accounting processes and maintain accurate documentation and records.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and productivity tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, or similar financial applications).
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation, compliance requirements, and basic financial regulations relevant to business operations.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a structured manner.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, management, and external stakeholders.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; skilled certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, especially within consulting or service-based businesses, is preferred.
