Role Description The Account Head role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The individual in this role will oversee the accounting and finance function, ensuring accurate preparation and review of financial statements, ledgers, and reports. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing budgeting and forecasting activities, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls.

The Account

Head will supervise and guide the accounts team, allocate tasks, review performance, and support team development. The role also involves coordinating with senior leadership on financial planning,



providing analytical insights for decision-making, and liaising with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Finance and Financial Statements skills, including the ability to interpret, analyze, and prepare accurate financial reports.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data, identify trends, and support strategic business decisions.
- Candidates should possess proven Account Management capabilities, including oversight of day-to-day accounting operations and stakeholder coordination.
- Candidates should possess effective Team Management skills, with experience leading, mentoring, and developing accounting or finance teams.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent); proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; strong communication and interpersonal skills; and a commitment to ethical financial practices and compliance.
