About the Role

Castle Chess Academy is looking for an Academic Counsellor to handle enquiries from prospective students and parents and support them through the admission process.

The role involves understanding the student’s requirements, explaining suitable Academy programs, addressing enquiries and prompt followup.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a customer-friendly approach, good follow-up discipline, and the ability to understand customer needs.

Requirements

Higher secondary or Plus two or equivalent qualification preferred.

Prior experience in academic counselling, admissions, inside sales, telecalling, customer service (education sector preferred).

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Comfortable communicating with parents and handling objections.

Good listening and interpersonal skills.

Ability to understand customer requirements and explain programs clearly.

Robust follow-up and lead management skills.





Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Google Workspace, CRM or similar tools.

Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.

Customer-oriented and professional approach.

Preferred Skills

Experience in an education, training, coaching, or academic environment.

Experience in handling admission or enquiry processes.

Communication skills in English and Malayalam.

Willing to learn and grow with the organization

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate

- Karyavattom, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
