About the Role

Indian Wedding Planners (IWP) is looking for a creative and skilled 3D Decor Designer with experience in wedding décor, events, interiors, exhibition design, or hospitality design.

The candidate will be responsible for creating premium wedding décor concepts, 2D layouts, 3D models, realistic renders, moodboards, and client presentation decks. The role requires a robust understanding of Indian wedding functions, luxury décor styling, venue planning, florals, lighting, furniture, draping, mandaps, stages, and guest-experience spaces.

The candidate should be comfortable travelling for venue recces, hotel visits, destination projects, and event-related site visits as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Create innovative wedding décor concepts for Mehendi, Haldi, Sangeet, Cocktail, Wedding, Reception, Welcome Dinner, Brunch, Pool Party, and other functions.
- Develop detailed 3D designs, models, and high-quality realistic renders for wedding venues and décor setups.
- Design and visualise mandaps, stages, couple seating, entrance gates, floral installations, lounges, dining areas, bars, photo booths, dance floors, ceiling décor, lighting setups, backdrops, and guest-experience zones.
- Prepare 2D layouts, floor plans, sample layouts, and basic technical drawings for function-wise wedding décor planning.
- Convert client briefs, moodboards, references, and venue details into practical and execution-ready design concepts.
- Create day and evening design options, including appropriate lighting, ambience, colour palette, furniture, florals, draping, and décor details.
- Prepare premium moodboards and presentation decks for internal discussions and client approvals.




- Work closely with Wedding Planners, Operations Team, Decor Vendors, Florists, Lighting Vendors, Production Team, Hotel/Venue Teams, and management.
- Attend hotel recces, venue inspections, client meetings, vendor discussions, and destination property visits as assigned.
- Take venue photographs/videos and prepare recce reports with décor possibilities, layout suggestions, limitations, and recommendations.
- Research new wedding décor trends, luxury wedding concepts, floral styling, lighting, furniture, destination weddings, and guest-experience ideas.
- Develop and share 3–4 fresh décor concepts/inspiration ideas every week.
- Revise 3D designs, layouts, renders, and moodboards as per client and management feedback.
- Ensure all designs are practical, within budget, venue-appropriate, technically feasible, and suitable for on-ground execution.
- Maintain organised project folders, reference libraries, design files, approved renders, layouts, and presentations.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in 3D visualisation for weddings, events, interiors, exhibitions, hospitality, or experiential design.
- Ability to create realistic and premium 3D renders for client presentations.
- Strong understanding of Indian wedding décor, mandap design, stage design, floral décor, furniture styling, lighting, draping, and venue transformation.
- Good knowledge of space planning, dimensions, guest flow, venue restrictions, and décor execution feasibility.
- Creative eye for colours, themes, materials, textures, lighting, and luxury styling.




- Ability to work on multiple wedding projects and meet strict deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel for venue visits, event sites, hotel recces, and destination weddings.

Software Skills Required Candidates should have working knowledge of the following software:

- SketchUp
- 3ds Max / Blender / Cinema 4D
- V-Ray / Lumion / Enscape / Corona / Twinmotion
- AutoCAD
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator, Canva, PowerPoint, or similar presentation tools

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Photoshop is commonly requested for event and wedding 3D-design roles; practical experience creating layouts, models, photorealistic renders, and presentation visuals should be treated as essential for this position.

Qualifications

- Degree, Diploma, or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, 3D Design, Event Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in 3D design, event décor, wedding décor, interior design, architecture, exhibition design, or hospitality design.
- Experience in luxury weddings, destination weddings, event design, or hospitality projects will be preferred.
- Portfolio is mandatory. Applicants must share previous work, including 3D renders, wedding/event designs, layouts, moodboards, or venue visualisations.

Candidate Requirements

- Must be based in Jaipur or willing to relocate to Jaipur.
- Must be comfortable with full-time, in-office work.
- Must be available to travel as per project requirements.
- Must be able to join immediately or within a short notice period.
- Candidates without a relevant 3D design portfolio will not be considered.
