2D Game Artist Intern Indie Game Studio

We are looking for a creative 2D Game Artist Intern to join our indie game studio in Bangalore. You will work closely with our core team on an original PC game featuring a 2.5D HD pixel-art style and isometric gameplay perspective, blending a cyber-feudal Japanese world with advanced technology.

Responsibilities:

- Create 2D game assets including characters, environments, props and UI.
- Design game UI elements such as icons, panels, buttons and HUDs.
- Create pixel-art and promotional assets for the game.
- Contribute to Steam capsule art, key art and social media visuals.
- Maintain visual consistency across the game.
- Collaborate with the existing art and development team and contribute ideas to the visual direction.

Requirements:

- Solid 2D art and visual design fundamentals.




- Portfolio demonstrating 2D art, illustration, game art or UI.
- Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, Aseprite, Figma or similar tools.
- Good understanding of composition, colour and visual hierarchy.
- Interest in games and willingness to learn and experiment.

Details:

- Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore
- Work Mode: Hybrid 2–3 days in office
- Duration: 4 months
- Stipend: 10,000–15,000/month
- PPO: 3–4 LPA based on performance and studio requirements
