Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer / Data Platform Developer to join the Data Excellence Program (DEP) team and contribute to the development of enterprise-scale data capabilities. The role will support the design and implementation of modern data engineering solutions that enable trusted, governed, and reusable data assets across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in data engineering, cloud data platforms, and application development. This individual will work closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to develop data pipelines, transformations, integration services, APIs, and data products that support analytics, reporting, AI, and business operations. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, integrations, and data processing frameworks.
Build and enhance components of the enterprise data platform and data foundation capabilities.
Implement data models, transformations, and data quality controls.




Develop reusable services and APIs to facilitate data access and integration.
Collaborate with architecture and product teams to implement enterprise data standards and engineering best practices.
Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Support modernization efforts across cloud-based data platforms and applications.
Contribute to metadata, governance, lineage, and semantic layer initiatives where applicable.

Must-Have Skills:
Strong data engineering experience, including SQL/PLSQL, ETL/ELT, and dbt.
Hands-on experience with data warehouse platforms, preferably Snowflake.
Experience working with cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
Strong Python skills specific to data engineering, automation, and data processing use cases.
Exposure to AI-enabled development or delivery practices, including coding agents and Agentic AI concepts.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Experience working in Agile development environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Knowledge of knowledge graphs and semantic layer concepts.
Understanding of data lineage concepts and tools.
Familiarity with metadata management practices.
Exposure to ontology-driven data modeling or ontology-based data platforms.
Awareness of data foundation and governance-related concepts.
