Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced L2 Motherboard & Chipset Support Engineer with strong expertise in motherboard troubleshooting, chip-level debugging and hardware failure analysis. The candidate will be responsible for handling critical technical escalations and resolving complex motherboard, chipset, BIOS and firmware-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle L2 technical escalations related to motherboard and hardware issues.
- Perform chip-level and component-level troubleshooting of motherboards.
- Diagnose failures related to chipset, CPU, RAM, power circuits, BIOS and other motherboard components.
- Perform detailed failure analysis and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Troubleshoot BIOS, firmware and hardware compatibility issues.
- Identify recurring hardware failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Work closely with Product Engineering, Quality, R&D; and OEM vendors for technical resolution.




- Support motherboard testing, validation and recent product introduction.
- Analyse warranty/field failure data and identify recurring failure patterns.
- Prepare technical reports, RCA and CAPA documentation.
- Support service teams by providing technical guidance for complex motherboard failures.
- Participate in technical reviews with internal teams and OEM/manufacturing partners.
