Role & responsibilities

• Lead test automation activities for automotive validation programs across ECU, system, and vehicle-level testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for functional, integration, regression, and diagnostics testing.
• Analyze customer requirements and identify automation opportunities to improve test efficiency and coverage.
• Develop automated test scripts and reusable test libraries using industry-standard tools and scripting languages.
• Integrate automated test execution with HIL setups, CAN tools, and CI/CD environments.
• Support validation of Body Electronics, Powertrain, ADAS, Connected Car, Infotainment, and Diagnostics systems.
• Integration of JIRA, Codebeamer with Cloud based test management tool
• Perform test execution, result analysis, defect reporting, and root cause investigation.
• Collaborate with validation engineers, software developers, system engineers, and project leads.
• Generate automation metrics, test reports, coverage reports, and quality dashboards.
• Support CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, and automotive communication protocol testing.
• Participate in customer reviews, technical discussions, and project status meetings.




• Drive continuous improvement of automation frameworks, scripts, and validation processes.
• Ensure compliance with Automotive SPICE, OEM processes, and organizational quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge-sharing activities within the team.

Preferred candidate profile

• Automotive validation and verification concepts
• Hands on experience with Test automation framework development
• Knowledge about Python programming , CAPL scripting, Gen AI
• Automation using CANoe and vTESTstudio
• Diagnostics testing (UDS, OBD)
• CAN, LIN, FlexRay and Automotive Ethernet
• Experience in HIL design, integration, commissioning and automated testing
• Requirements analysis and traceability
• Experience in Defect tracking and root cause analysis
• Vector CANoe , Vector CANalyzer
• Knowledge about Git/GitLab, vTESTstudio , Jenkins or CI/CD tools
• Hands on experience of VT Systems/dSPACE/NI
• Understanding of Jira Xray and DevOps
• Automotive SPICE awareness
• Test reporting and metrics analysis
