Kanha Rice Products is a rice processing unit based in Akaltara, Chhattisgarh, engaged in raw and parboiled rice milling, government custom milling, and open-market operations.

Role Description

We are looking for a Tally Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, inventory records, statutory documentation, and government portal work related to rice mill operations.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Akaltara, Chhattisgarh.

Responsibilities

- Manage daily accounting in Tally Prime, including purchases, sales, receipts, payments, ledgers, debit/credit notes, and expenses.
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, cash records, and party outstanding.
- Maintain and reconcile paddy, rice, broken rice, bran, husk, and other inventory records.
- Prepare GST, TDS, invoicing, e-way bill, and related compliance documentation.
- Work on relevant Chhattisgarh Government portals, including e-Mandi and custom milling-related websites.
- Handle entries and documentation related to paddy lifting, milling, rice delivery, and government custom milling.
- Use Excel for reconciliation, reports,



and data analysis.
- Coordinate with weighbridge, production, procurement, and management teams to ensure accurate records.

Qualifications

- Strong practical knowledge of Tally Prime and accounting.
- Knowledge of manual accounting and physical book keeping.
- Positive knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Comfortable using online government portals.
- Good numerical accuracy, record-keeping, and attention to detail.
- B.Com or similar qualification preferred.
- Prior experience in a rice mill or manufacturing business is preferred.
- Experience with Chhattisgarh rice mills, e-Mandi, or government custom milling will be a strong advantage.
