Key Responsibilities
1. Hospital Administration & Operational Excellence
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily hospital operations to ensure all departments function cohesively and adhere to institutional policies and healthcare regulations.
- Patient Journey Management: Streamline the end-to-end patient experience—from admission and clinical consultation to billing and discharge—ensuring a frictionless process.
- Efficiency Strategies: Develop and execute operational strategies aimed at reducing turnaround times (TAT) and enhancing overall hospital productivity.
2. Financial Acumen & Business Performance
- Dashboard Monitoring: Review daily financial dashboards and track KPIs to monitor revenue trends and departmental expenses.
- Revenue Optimization: Drive business growth by analyzing and optimizing conversion rates from Outpatient (OP) consultations to ancillary services (Lab, Radiology, and Pharmacy).
- Cost Management: Identify leakage points and implement cost-control measures to improve the unit’s bottom line without compromising care quality.
- Reporting: Synthesize complex data into actionable financial reports for senior management.
3. Patient Service & Experience Excellence
- Service Culture: Lead the "Patient First" initiative, fostering a culture of empathy and excellence across all touchpoints.
- Grievance Redressal: Act as the escalation point for patient feedback, ensuring timely resolution of grievances to maintain high trust levels.
- Ancillary Services: Oversee non-clinical support functions, including Food & Beverage (F&B;) and housekeeping, to ensure stringent hygiene and quality standards.
- Metric Tracking: Monitor Net Promoter Scores (NPS)
and patient satisfaction surveys to drive continuous service improvements.
4. Stakeholder Relations & Team Leadership
- Regulatory Liaison: Maintain professional relationships with government authorities and local regulatory bodies to ensure the unit remains compliant with all healthcare laws.
- Clinical Engagement: Nurture robust professional ties with doctors and nursing staff to ensure alignment between administrative goals and clinical needs.
- Team Development: Mentor and lead a diverse administrative team, fostering a high-performance work environment built on collaboration.
Qualifications & Required Skills
- Education: Master’s degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), MBA in Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- A Medical degree (MBBS/BDS) with administrative postgraduate qualifications is preferred.
- Experience: * Proven track record in a senior administrative or deputy role within a NABH-accredited hospital.
- Core Competencies:
- Analytical Prowess: Ability to interpret financial data and operational metrics.
- Leadership: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Resilience: High emotional intelligence and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Indian healthcare landscape, insurance/TPA processes, and patient safety standards.
Desired Profile
Sector Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in hospital operations, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or deputy role within a large-scale multispecialty hospital.
Accreditation Knowledge: Hands-on experience with NABH standards, ensuring the facility is always audit-ready.
