Your Role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data engineering solutions using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Kubernetes. You will work with engineering and business teams to build reliable data pipelines and platforms capable of processing large volumes of data.

In this role, you will:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions.
- Build and optimize data engineering workloads using Azure Databricks and PySpark.
- Develop efficient solutions for large-scale batch and distributed data processing.
- Work with Kubernetes for deploying, managing, and scaling containerized data applications and services.
- Design robust ETL/ELT processes for ingesting, transforming, and processing data from multiple sources.
- Improve performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability of data pipelines.
- Collaborate with data architects, developers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting mechanisms.
- Follow engineering best practices related to coding standards, version control, testing, CI/CD, and documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and contribute to architecture and design discussions.





Your Profile

- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
- Excellent programming and data-processing experience using PySpark.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Strong understanding of distributed data processing and large-scale data engineering concepts.
- Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Good understanding of cloud-based data architectures and data integration patterns.
- Strong SQL and data transformation skills.
- Experience with source control and CI/CD practices is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
