Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Snowflake as the primary database engine.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs.
- Develop complex SQL queries to extract insights from massive datasets stored in PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle databases.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, security and performance of the system by monitoring its behavior under different loads.

Job Requirements :

- 4-8 years of experience in Data Engineering with expertise in cloud-based technologies such as AWS.
- Solid understanding of DBMS concepts including relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle) and NoSQL databases like HDFS.
- Proficiency in programming languages Python/Spark/Hadoop for big data processing tasks.
- Experience with migrating workloads between different cloud platforms (e.g., on-premises to cloud).
