Role Overview
The Senior Manager Sales is responsible for driving business growth by developing and executing sales strategies, expanding business in international markets, building strategic customer relationships, and achieving revenue and profitability targets across all product verticals, including food products (coffee, cashew, spices, and millets), fibre (cotton), medicinal extracts, eco-credits, and other value-added products. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen the organization's global market presence, deliver excellent customer experience, and support sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute global sales strategies aligned with the organization's growth objectives.
- Identify & develop business in high-value potential international markets (Americas, Oceania, Europe and Asia).
- Lead pricing strategy, margin optimization, and revenue mix improvement.
- Build GTM strategies for new product launches and new geographies.
- Position the enterprise as a premium, traceable, sustainable agri brand.
- Develop a global brand narrative around regenerative agriculture & impact.
- Participate in international trade exhibitions and support digital and trade marketing to generate business opportunities.
- Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, volumes, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Draft and finalize MoUs, pilot agreements, and long-term supply contracts in coordination with legal experts.
- Ensure contracts align with supply capabilities, compliance requirements, and impact commitments.
- Convert successful pilot projects into long-term commercial agreements.
- Own global revenue targets (volume, value, margin).
- Deliver YoY growth targets across offerings
- Improve gross margin through channel optimization and strategic contracts.
- Drive working capital efficiency through disciplined sales planning.
- Develop B2B partnerships with:
- Textile brands & garment manufacturers
- FMCG and food brands
- Nutraceutical & pharmaceutical companies
- Carbon credit buyers & ESG funds
- Strengthen distributor, importer, and institutional buyer networks.
- Lead key account management (KAM) strategy for global buyers.
- Monitor global commodity trends, pricing cycles, and competitor landscape.
- Identify new product opportunities and value-added product opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations & supply chain for demand forecasting.
- Build regional sales leaders (Americas, Oceania, Europe, Asia)
- Establish performance review and KPI tracking for the sales team.
- Strengthen sales capabilities in negotiation, international trade, contract management, and key account management.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, contracts, and export requirements.
- Collaborate with Finance to manage foreign exchange (FX) and commercial risks.
- Ensure ethical sales practices and adherence to organizational policies.
- Minimize commercial risks through effective customer, contract, and payment management.
- Oversee coordination with Operations and Logistics to ensure timely export execution, product quality, and regulatory compliance for international customers.
- Ensure timely payment realization and effective account management.
- Maintain low quality rejection / claim rate for international shipments.
- Manage compliance with destination-country regulatory requirements.

Education & Experience
- MBA (Sales/Marketing/Strategy) or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or International / Export Sales
- Minimum 5+ years in leadership role managing multi-country teams.
- Experience in agri-commodities / cotton / food exports / nutraceuticals / carbon markets preferred.
- Strong global buyer network is an advantage
