Position: Senior Consultant | Deputy Manager - Telecom & IT Security

Level: Mid-Level (4 - 6 years of relevant experience)

Location: Anywhere in India, 70% travel to ME

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct security audits and assessments for telecom core networks (e.g., EPC, IMS, 5G Core, signalling security, network elements).
- Assess and review IT security controls, policies, and procedures in alignment with industry standards.
- Develop Risk & Control Matrices (RCMs), audit reports, and recommendations for both telecom and IT domains.
- Support compliance assessments against standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GSMA FS.11/FS.19, and 3GPP security guidelines.
- Identify and document security gaps, vulnerabilities, and improvement opportunities in both telecom and IT systems.
- Work closely with clients to explain findings, recommend mitigation measures, and assist in remediation planning.
- Provide advisory on secure network architecture, signalling protection,



and access management for telecom environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineering, IT security, and risk management.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4 - 6 years of experience in telecom network security with exposure to IT security practices.
- Strong knowledge of telecom core network technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G), Diameter/SIGTRAN/SIP security, and signaling threat mitigation.
- Familiarity with IT security domains such as identity and access management, endpoint security, and vulnerability management.
- Experience with security standards & frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, 3GPP, GSMA, etc.).
- Ability to perform technical risk assessments, gap analysis, and compliance audits.
- Strong communication skills to engage with both technical teams and senior management.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 27001 LA, CISSP, CEH, GSMA NESAS awareness) are preferred.
