Role & responsibilities

- Lead the complete launch, operations and growth of VRides in the assigned city.
- Develop and execute the city launch and expansion strategy.
- Recruit, onboard and activate Bike, Auto and Cab Captains.
- Build and manage Zone Managers, Field Executives and other city-level teams.
- Achieve targets for active Captains, completed rides, customer acquisition and revenue.
- Develop local marketing initiatives and business partnerships.
- Monitor Captain availability, acceptance rates and cancellation rates.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve operational issues.
- Coordinate with central Operations and Technology teams to resolve city-level issues.
- Manage the approved city budget and control operational expenses.
- Track city-level KPIs and submit regular reports to Head Office.
- Identify opportunities to increase ride volume and revenue.
- Build relationships with Captains, fleet owners, local businesses and other stakeholders.
- Take ownership of city-level operational performance and profitability.

Preferred candidate profile

- 58 years of relevant experience in ride-hailing, mobility, logistics, fleet management,



transportation, delivery operations or field operations.
- Graduate degree required; MBA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the assigned city's geography and transportation ecosystem.
- Experience managing field teams and achieving operational targets.
- Experience in driver/Captain acquisition and fleet operations is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage city-level operations.
- Willingness to work extensively in the field during city launch and expansion.
- Robust understanding of KPIs, revenue, cost control and team performance.
