ROLE SUMMARY:
Owns the editorial vision, campaign strategy and quality bar for the organization's public-facing content. Sets narrative direction, leads a multi-disciplinary content team, and is the final editorial authority on tone, accuracy and institutional appropriateness across every channel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Campaign strategy: Define the core narrative and 'why now' logic for national campaigns; set 35 coherent content pillars and a differentiated platform strategy.
Audience & messaging: Segment audiences and direct meaningfully distinct messaging for each.
Content development: Commission and shape long-form articles, social copy, taglines and short-film concepts
Editorial review: Act as final reviewer: identify factual, editorial, tonal, reputational and communication risks, and rewrite to keep urgency without amplifying panic.
Editorial framework: Own the fact-verification process, source hierarchy, sign-off chain and misinformation-response protocol.
ELIGIBILITY :
- At least 7 years' media experience of working as Creative Head / Team Lead in a Government Department / Reputed Media House.
- PG Diploma / Degree in Mass Communication / Journalism from a recognized university / institute with excellent command over English & Hindi. Desirable: Leading a social media team.
- Desirable: Journalism/traditional media experience and prior experience in government departments/ministry.
SKILLS:
- Proven editorial leadership across written, social and video content.
- Sharp judgement on tone and understanding of communication conflicts.
- Robust original writing plus the instinct to spot the single most dangerous line in a draft.
- Ability to build proactive and reactive anti-misinformation strategy
- Command of both English and Hindi communication contexts.
