Job Description:

Astral Limited is hiring for the position of Officer Quality (QA/QC) at its Santej Plant. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical proficiency in quality systems, data analysis, ISO standards, and should have a proven background in chemical, paint, or adhesive industries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality audits
- Handle customer complaints, including timely closure and resolution
- Ensure good laboratory practices and implement 5S in QC lab operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions)
- Conduct Quality / ISO audits and follow robust testing procedures




- Manage all quality documentation, including SOPs, inspection reports, and CAPA records
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality function

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Chemistry background (B.Sc / M.Sc mandatory)
- Proficient in SAP systems, ISO 9001:2015, and quality management tools
- Strong attention to detail, data analysis, and observational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Time management, flexibility to work in shifts, and adaptability to recent responsibilities
- Computer proficiency and understanding of technical specifications
