Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager specialized in Electrical Engineering and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will lead end-to-end execution of complex electrical engineering projectsranging from high-voltage substations and power distribution networks to industrial plants and renewable energy integration. You will oversee project scope, financial budgets, schedules, resource allocation, technical quality, safety compliance, and client relations, ensuring successful project delivery from inception through engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), testing, and final handover.

Key Responsibilities & Core Competencies

- Project Lifecycle Management: Direct and manage full project lifecycles for electrical engineering projects, ensuring delivery on-time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Planning & Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project management plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), master schedules (Primavera P6/MS Project), and milestone tracking metrics.
- Financial & Budget Control: Monitor project financial performance, including budgeting, cost forecasting, cash flow tracking, invoice approvals, variation order management, and profit-margin optimization.
- Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams (Design, Procurement, Site Execution, Testing & Commissioning) and coordinate effectively with subcontractors and vendors.
- Technical & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with technical specifications, international design codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC), and local utility regulations across all project phases.




- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders, managing expectations, reporting progress, and resolving contractual or technical disputes.
- HSE & Quality Assurance: Implement robust Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols and rigorous Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) measures across all work sites.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 8 to 12 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, with at least 4 to 5 years in a project management or leadership capacity handling power systems/substations.
- Certifications: Professional certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is highly preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Proven expertise in project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project) and financial/ERP management systems.
- Technical Background: Comprehensive technical knowledge of electrical primary/secondary equipment, protection systems, power studies, and site testing procedures.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, leadership, conflict resolution, and written/verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Qualified Engineer (PE) license or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering major utility or industrial EPC electrical projects in the region.
- Experience handling contractual frameworks (FIDIC contracts).
