Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Exchange / Microsoft 365 Messaging Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Exchange Server, Exchange Online, Hybrid Exchange, Microsoft 365 administration, messaging infrastructure, migrations and email security.

The candidate will be responsible for administration, troubleshooting, migration and support of enterprise Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments, including high availability, mail flow, identity integration and security.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support Microsoft Exchange Server 2016/2019 and Exchange Server Subscription Edition (SE).
- Manage Exchange Online (EXO) and Microsoft 365 messaging environments.
- Design, configure and troubleshoot Exchange Hybrid environments using Hybrid Configuration Wizard (HCW).
- Manage DAG (Database Availability Group), High Availability, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity for Exchange environments.
- Troubleshoot complex mail flow, SMTP, DNS and message delivery issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
- Perform Exchange, mailbox and tenant migrations.
- Support Public Folder, Cutover and Hybrid migrations.
- Manage Entra ID, Entra Connect / Azure AD Connect integration with Exchange and Microsoft 365.
- Perform Exchange administration using PowerShell and Exchange Management Shell.
- Administer and troubleshoot Exchange Online Protection (EOP) and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
- Work with email security solutions such as Proofpoint.
- Manage Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business.
- Perform incident investigation using message tracking and mail-flow analysis.




- Support Microsoft 365 security, compliance and identity requirements.
- Create PowerShell scripts to automate administration, monitoring and operational tasks.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning and testing.

Required Candidate Profile

- Robust hands-on experience in Exchange Server and Exchange Online administration.
- Good experience managing Hybrid Exchange environments and HCW.
- Strong knowledge of DAG, High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills across mail flow, SMTP, DNS and email authentication.
- Hands-on experience with Exchange and Microsoft 365 migrations.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
- Good understanding of Entra ID / Azure AD Connect.
- Experience with EOP, Defender for Office 365 and/or Proofpoint.
- Good communication and incident-management skills.
