Role & responsibilities Head Production for resin manufacturing DCS Based Batch Process plant

Experience: 16 - 18 years

- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech Chemical Engineering from a regular/full-time course
- Maximum CTC: 30 % Rise on Present CTC, including 15% variable pay
- Reporting to: Plant Head

Candidate Profile – Key Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a regular/full-time program. External/correspondence qualifications will not be considered.
- If the candidate has progressed from Diploma to B.E./B.Tech, the education should be in continuous progression without any gap/discontinuity.
- Candidates with 16–18 years of relevant production experience, preferably in a leadership/plant production role.
- Local candidates from Gujarat will be given first preference. However, we are open to candidates from outside Gujarat as well if they meet the requirements strongly.
- Candidates from the same/similar business segment will be preferred. Relevant industries include:
- Ion Exchange Resin
- Specialty Chemicals
- Chemical Manufacturing
- Paint Industry
- Other process industries with strong batch-processing exposure
- Robust experience in batch process manufacturing is essential.
- Experience in handling hazardous chemicals such as CSA, Oleum, Sulfuric Acid and solvents will be preferred.
- Exposure to DCS, SAP, PSM, IMS and ISO is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- RM and production planning,



inventory management and dispatch coordination.
- Manpower management, team building and development of the production team.
- Ensuring plant operations are carried out safely and effectively as per defined SOPs.
- Troubleshooting process and operational issues and ensuring timely corrective actions.
- Gap analysis and implementation of actions to maintain budgeted production norms.
- Continuous improvement and cost optimization through:
- Reduction in RM and utility consumption
- Yield improvement
- Waste reduction
- Process optimization
- Driving TQM, improvement initiatives and overall system enhancement within the production function.
- Coordination with Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Stores, Planning and other departments to minimize breakdowns and ensure timely completion of routine and non-routine jobs.
- Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, productivity and operational standards.

Candidate Preference

Our preference would be for candidates who have hands-on plant experience in batch chemical manufacturing and have demonstrated the ability to independently lead production operations, manage manpower and drive productivity, yield improvement and cost reduction.Working days : 6 days a week , with alternate week off
