PRODUCTION MANAGER

COSMETICS MANUFACTURING FACILITY - INDIA

The Production Manager will oversee end-to-end operations of the cosmetic manufacturing facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, compliance, and seamless supply chain execution. A hands-on, detail-oriented leader, this role will independently manage factory operations, drive accountability, and serve as the operational extension of the AVP in the absence of senior leadership.

THE PROFILE

- Production & Manufacturing Oversight - Oversee daily manufacturing operations, production targets, batch processing, packaging, and process efficiency.
- Quality Control & Compliance - Ensure products meet quality, GMP, and regulatory standards while maintaining robust QA/QC processes and documentation.
- Supply Chain & Inventory Management - Manage raw materials, packaging, inventory, procurement coordination, supplier deliveries, and cost efficiencies.
- Team Management & Leadership - Lead production teams, delegate responsibilities, and maintain high standards of performance, safety, and accountability.
- Operational Planning & Reporting - Develop production plans, track operational KPIs, and provide regular performance reports to senior management.




- Facility & Equipment Management - Ensure machinery, equipment, and utilities are well maintained and operating efficiently.
- Cross-Functional Coordination - Collaborate with R&D;, Procurement, Finance, and Branding teams to ensure production readiness and seamless operations.

ESSENTIAL

- 5-8+ years in operations or production management within cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG manufacturing
- Proven experience managing end-to-end factory operations
- Strong understanding of cosmetic manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of GMP, quality systems, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and process-driven mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Robust leadership and team management capabilities
- Financial awareness including cost control, budgeting, and efficiency tracking
