Role & responsibilities

- Design and develop investment casting dies, patterns & tooling as per customer requirements.
- Prepare and modify 2D drawings & 3D models using CAD software.
- Develop tooling considering shrinkage, machining allowance, draft & casting requirements.
- Review customer drawings and ensure design feasibility for investment casting.
- Coordinate with Production, Foundry, QA/QC & NPD teams for smooth development.
- Support new product development, tooling trials & modifications.
- Identify and resolve die/tooling-related casting issues.
- Maintain design drawings, tooling records & revision control.
- Ensure designs meet quality, dimensional and production requirements.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE





- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- Experience in Investment Casting Die & Tool Design preferred.
- Strong knowledge of 2D & 3D CAD software.
- Understanding of casting design, shrinkage, machining allowance & tooling.
- Experience in new product development and die development.
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T;.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good coordination with NPD, Production, Quality & Foundry teams.
- Candidates with relevant foundry / investment casting experience will be preferred.
