Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Automotive HIL/VIL Validation Engineer with hands-on experience in HIL/VIL testing, CANoe, CAPL, CAN/LIN communication, UDS diagnostics, ECU integration, and root-cause analysis.

The role involves system-level testing and validation across HIL, VIL, test-bench, and physical vehicle environments, along with involvement in system engineering and V-cycle activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute system-level test cases across HIL, VIL, test-bench, and physical vehicle environments.
- Develop and execute automated test routines, diagnostic requests, and network simulations using CAPL in CANoe.
- Monitor and analyze CAN/LIN communication and vehicle network logs to identify system and ECU integration issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of complex multi-ECU integration and communication issues.
- Conduct bench and vehicle-level testing to validate electrical, software, network, and system functions against requirements and specifications.
- Design, maintain, and modify CAN/LIN communication matrices and DBC files.
- Implement and validate UDS diagnostic services, diagnostic routines, DIDs, and fault codes across ECUs.
- Perform ECU measurement, calibration, and parameter tuning using CANape with XCP/CCP protocols.
- Analyze system requirements and maintain traceability between requirements, test cases,



and defects using ALM/PLM tools.
- Collaborate with Powertrain, Hardware, Software, Mechanical, and Testing teams to resolve system-level issues.
- Contribute to DFMEA, DVP/DVPR, and system engineering V-cycle activities based on validation findings.
- Manage engineering changes and release documentation using PLM tools such as Teamcenter.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- 3 - 8 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Testing, System Validation, HIL/VIL Testing, or ECU Validation.
- Strong hands-on experience with CANoe and CAPL.
- Good understanding of CAN/LIN, UDS diagnostics, ECU integration, and automotive networking.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional automotive engineering teams.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
