Role Overview

Perform high-fidelity ASR benchmarking, transcript auditing, and ground-truth text verification. The role involves correcting machine-generated transcripts, identifying WER errors, performing speaker diarization, and handling overlapping dialogue.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and correct machine-generated long-form transcripts.
- Identify and correct substitution, insertion, and deletion errors.
- Perform speaker diarization and audio segmentation, including overlapping speech.
- Capture stutters, false starts, filler words, pauses, and non-verbal sounds.
- Follow strict verbatim and clean-read style conventions.
- Support OCR and narrative QA by verifying extracted text and captions.

Mandatory Requirements

- 2-3+ years professional experience in transcription, captioning, subtitling, or court reporting in media/transcription services.
- 65+ WPM typing speed with 99% accuracy.
- Solid understanding of WER metrics, timecoding standards, and orthographic style guides.
