Job Description: Full Stack Engineer (SDE-2)

Position Overview

Digiclarity is looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our core engineering

team. In this role, you will own features end to end from responsive user interfaces through APIs, data, and

background processing — for high-availability web applications used by healthcare practices.

You will collaborate closely with product and design to ship modular, accessible, and reliable experiences across the

stack. We want someone who is robust in React / TypeScript and C# / .NET, comfortable in a multi-tenant SaaS

environment, and keen on spec-driven development and AI-augmented SDLC practices to raise quality and delivery

speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Feature development: Design and ship end-to-end features in React, TypeScript, and ASP.NET Core — UI,

API contracts, persistence, and async workflows.

• Architecture & contracts: Keep frontend and backend aligned on a single contract (auth, pagination, error

handling). Contribute to evolving a large existing codebase without breaking public APIs or tenant

boundaries.

• Payments & integrations: Build checkout and saved-card experiences using hosted payment fields (card data

never touches our servers), and implement idempotent server-side handling of provider webhooks and

retries.

• Security & tenancy: Enforce authentication/authorization on both the SPA and the API. Scope data by tenant

in the URL and in queries;

• Observability: Instrument client and server with structured logs, metrics, and distributed traces. Define

SLIs/SLOs (latency, error rate, saturation), use dashboards and alerts to find regressions, and drive issues to

root cause rather than restart-and-hope.

• Performance & scaling: Profile and tune hot paths — query plans, N+1 access,



payload size, bundle/cache

strategy, p95/p99 API and page latency. Plan for horizontal scale (stateless APIs, connection pooling, queue-

backed work, pagination) and load/capacity characteristics of multi-tenant traffic.

• Quality: Write automated tests on both stacks and participate in code review with focused, maintainable

diffs.

• AI-augmented workflows: Work spec-first (requirements and design before implementation). Use AI coding

assistants to draft, then own correctness, security, and production behaviour.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years building production web products, with recent, substantial time in both a React

frontend and a typed backend.

• Frontend: Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+); comfortable with authenticated SPAs,

forms, routing, and responsive layouts.

• Backend: Strong C# / .NET (or equivalent, with ability to ramp quickly): REST APIs, async programming, and

dependency injection.

• Data: Hands-on PostgreSQL (or equivalent) at the query level — joins, transactions, and safe concurrent

writes.

• Full-stack ownership: You regularly ship features across UI, API, and data

• Tooling: Proficient with Git, CI/CD, and writing clean, reviewable code on both sides of the stack.

• Problem solving: Strong debugging across browser, API, and database; experience with multi-tenant or high-

sensitivity data (access control, least privilege, no secrets in source).

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Familiarity with containerization (Docker), cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent),

and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have

• Domain exposure to healthcare or revenue cycle (patient billing, insurance claims, or similar regulated

workflows).

• Experience with payment processors, Realtime client updates, or message-based background workers.

• interest in AI-integrated developer tools (spec-driven workflows, LLM-assisted coding) used with tests — not

instead of them.
