Role & responsibilities

- Validate new product introductions, process changes, and 4M alterations for effectiveness.
- Drive first-time-right implementation for recent product launches.
- Conduct warranty issue reviews and reduce MAT warranty as per corporate targets.
- Perform battery cut-open analysis and failure diagnostics at plant or field locations.
- Guide process improvements for scrap reduction and defect elimination.
- Monitor and verify effectiveness of corrective actions linked to customer complaints.
- Participate in sample inspection and internal certification activities.
- Support cross-functional initiatives with Production, QA,



and R&D.;
- Submit and track internal evaluations of NPD samples with feedback integration.
- Maintain technical records of trials, test results, and improvement actions.

Functional/Domain Expertise

- Hands-on experience in battery manufacturing NPD processes (casting, pasting, assembly).
- Proficiency in cut-open analysis and failure diagnosis.
- Sample certification and test result interpretation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing defects, warranty trends, and root cause analysis.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage plant-level product/process validations.
