Role Overview :

The Assistant Manager Internal Audit will be responsible for conducting internal audits across the organisation's branches and ensuring adherence to established policies, processes, internal controls, statutory requirements, and operational guidelines. The role will involve executing audits, identifying control gaps and process risks, preparing detailed audit reports and following up on corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct internal, financial & operational audits as per audit plan.
- Review transactions, processes,



documentation and internal controls.
- Identify control gaps, process deviations, risks and fraud indicators.
- Verify cash, bank, expenses, revenue, inventory/assets and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs and statutory requirements.
- Prepare audit observations, working papers and detailed audit reports.
- Discuss findings with management and track corrective actions.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process/control improvements.
- Support special audits, investigations and process reviews when required.
