Role Overview:
We are looking for a Business Analyst with good Power BI exposure to act as a bridge between client stakeholders and our internal Data/Power BI teams. The candidate will understand business and reporting requirements, translate them into clear functional requirements, and guide the internal team in delivering effective dashboards and reporting solutions. This is not a pure Power BI Developer role. The primary focus is on requirement gathering, stakeholder management, dashboard consulting, and business analysis, with sufficient Power BI knowledge to understand and evaluate reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the bridge between clients and internal Data/Power BI teams.
- Gather and analyze business, reporting, KPI, and dashboard requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and dashboard specifications.
- Understand data sources, business rules, KPIs, and reporting logic at a functional level.
- Recommend appropriate dashboard layouts, KPIs, visualizations, filters, and navigation.
- Work closely with Data Engineers and Power BI Developers to clarify requirements.
- Prepare BRDs/FRDs, process flows, wireframes, and requirement documentation.




- Review dashboards and validate them against business requirements.
- Coordinate client feedback, UAT, enhancements, and requirement changes.
- Identify gaps and suggest practical improvements to reporting solutions.

Required Skills:
- 6-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, BI Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar role.
- Robust experience in business requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
- Good exposure to Microsoft Power BI and business dashboards.
- Understanding of KPIs, data visualization, filters, slicers, drill-throughs, and dashboard navigation.
- Functional understanding of DAX, Power Query, data modelling, and SQL.
- Experience working with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead client discussions and translate business requirements into actionable technical requirements.
