- We are seeking a java developer with 5+ yrs of experience
- This is a full-time Senior Java Software Engineer role with a hybrid work arrangement of working in our Pune office and some flexibility for work from home
- The Senior Java Software Engineer will be responsible for software development, programming, and microservices on our platform
- They will work with the Spring Framework, Java, and other technologies to maintain and improve the platform

Role

- Design and build robust S server-side applications using Spring and Spring Boot for efficiency

- Employ Spring MVC for designing and developing scalable web applications

- Manage data interactions and persistence with Hibernate

- Handle database operations

Ensure the scalability, performance, and resilience of applications

- Engage in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes, testing, and operations

- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases

- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in live environments, ensuring system uptime and stability

- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design

- Knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous architectures,



and patterns

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize code

- Robust written and verbal communication skills

- Proven experience in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams like Product Management, QA, and Operations

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

- 6 + years of experience in Java development

Requirements

- Proficient in Java8, especially functional Programming concepts, stream API, method references, lambda expressions, and new features

- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles

- Expertise in Java Collections framework and robust exception-handling techniques

- Demonstrated experience in developing multi-threaded applications
