This is a sales and business development role, ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in sales and business development. Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills preferred.

Role & responsibilities

- Identify and build a pipeline of Maharashtra-based businesses (real estate, travel, education, events, F&B;, financial services) interested in reaching an American audience of US-based Marathi and Indian diaspora
- Reach out to prospects through calls, in-person meetings, LinkedIn, and email, using company-provided pitch material and scripts
- Own follow-ups and relationship-building through the full sales cycle, from first contact to signed deal
- Coordinate with the founder for proposal creation, pricing, and final contract sign-off
- Maintain a weekly report of outreach activity: contacts made, meetings booked, proposals sent, and deals closed
- Represent American Bhau professionally in every local business conversation, in person and online

Preferred candidate profile

- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or media/advertising sales
- Based in Maharashtra,



comfortable with local travel for in-person client meetings
- Fluent in Marathi and English; comfortable pitching both individually-owned businesses and larger regional companies
- Confident on the phone and in person; strong follow-up discipline, not just a good opening pitch
- Prior experience selling sponsorships, ad space, or partnerships is a solid plus
- Self-starter who can work independently and report progress without close daily supervision
- Genuine interest in or familiarity with the Marathi diaspora / NRI community is a bonus, not a requirement

Salary

- 20,000 to 30,000 per month base

- 10% commission on every deal you close

This is a base + commission role, not commission-only, we want someone who can commit real, focused hours to this without treating it as a side hustle. On top of the fixed monthly base, you earn a meaningful commission on every partnership deal you bring in and close.

You'll start with a trial contract of 3 months and if your are a good match we can talk about a full time role.
